The abrasive metering valve on the abrasivejet system is
positioned close to the cutting head, reducing the distance the abrasive
travels; thus, ensuring consistently smooth cutting (on left). The piece
on the right was cut on a different machine with longer feed tubes, causing an
erratic abrasive feed which will leave a rough, irregular surface.
